Remembering a Beloved Mom
My good friend Jon unexpectantly lost he beloved mom in late 2021. His mom, Cheri, was a very faith-based woman that loved being a mom!
She spent countless hours at various sporting events, cheering from the sidelines, keeping score, and even coaching softball when nobody else would step up. She played video games, watched Friday night movies, played cards—always putting the kids first. She was a counselor and friend to them.
Cheri also loved people. She had such a servant’s heart and would drop everything to spend time with them. She gave freely of her time and resources, sometimes even to strangers at the store. This love was born from her love for Jesus. Her faith in Christ was the bedrock of her life.
As a wearable tribute to Jon’s mom and her strong faith, I customized the design on this gun metal gray cowboy hat. The design includes her initials on the back with a wooden cross below her initials. The side design includes a silver and gold cross along with feathering to accent the masculine design. The under part of the brim highlights Jon’s favorite Bible verse that reminds him of his mom, along with the coordinates of the house where Jon grew up.
